Domo-kun

Domo-kun , popular toys from japan , is a a small brown open-mouthed monster revealing pointy teeth and with beady black eyes . He hatched from an egg and lives with a wise old rabbit underground. He enjoy watching TV and playing rock music .

Taketombo

Take’ is bamboo in English, and ‘Tombo’ is dragonfly. Taketombo are Japan’s hand-made toys made from bambo that able fly like mini-helicopters on their one propeller . Rub the stick with your hands and rotate it. The wing will fly off it with great force.

Maneki Neko

Maneki Neko is a cat figurine. However, it is not just any kind of cat figurine. The one which sits and has it’s front paw raised as if it is calling for someone is the only one that can be called a ” Maneki neko”.It just sits in your house or in your store. But it does bring the luck, the fortune and the customers into your store. It does invite the happiness to your home!

Hachimaki

Japanese Hachimaki (headbands) are thin cotton strips tied around the forehead. It is the symbol of one’s dedication to the hard work necessary to train correctly. The meaning of the hachimaki is akin to the western gesture of rolling up the sleeves: it symbolises the seriousness of getting down to business.
