Whenever you hear the words Dragon Ball, what do you think of? Well for the most part you should think of a very high grossing anime that is found all over the world in many different counties. However, there are a few things that are hard for some people to figure out about the Dragon Ball shows. For example, what is the difference between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT? Where do they fit in? What about Dragon Ball Z? Well, the truth is, they are all kind of sequels of each other. See Dragon Ball is the very first one. This is the story of Goku, and it follows him from childhood all the way up to adulthood. After that, you have the sequel that is known as Dragon Ball Z. Pretty much/ this is just the series continued. However/ in this one you follow Son Goku, who is the son of the hero from the first Dragon Ball. Last, but not least, you have the Dragon Ball GT. This is, again, the sequel to Dragon Ball Z.
Pretty much, as you may have guessed, Dragoon Ball GT is a continued story of Dragon Ball Z. In this series, you are still on the adventures of little Son Goku. Now, for those of you who watched Dragon Ball Z, you may be saying, “Hey he was grown up at the end of Dragon Ball Z!” Well that is true, but Son Goku got changed back into a child by the Black Star Dragon Ball. Now he has to travel across the galaxy to try and get the Dragoon Balls back. The only problem with GT is that a lot of people did not like the story. This first Dragon Ball series was created by Akira Toriyama, and Dragon Ball Z was based off that series. Dragon Ball GT is the first out of the series to not be directly based on the original story. For that reason, a lot of the long time fans were very upset with the new series. Of course, with that being said, a lot o them still liked it a lot.
Either way, Dragon Ball is a show that is going to be around for a long time to come. There seems to be no end to the amount of stories they can get from this group of misfit characters. As more and more people keep falling in love with the show, you can expect to see a lot more stories to be told. These stories that are made usually come in two different forms. Usually you can get them in comic book form, or you can get them in anime form. No matter which one you choose to view, you are going to be very happy with all of them. Although some people have some bad things to say about GT, do not let that turn you off. It’s a very good series that should be watched by everyone. The people that seem to like it the most are the ones that did not see the first two series of Dragon Ball.
You can watch dragonball episodes online and get to know more about anime show.
